Awesome Team River Runner Session
Sunday night was a great TRR session. We had 11 vets in boats, and even more volunteers. We had five guys working on rolling; one got it, the other four are very close. We worked on Eskimo rescues with them, and it came in handy. Why? We had a very spirited game of kayak football, 6 on 7. We had lots of flips, but most of those were saved with Eskimo rescues, instead of a bunch of swimmers. We even had some tackling going on. I tell you what, I am more inspired by the direction of this program very week. Getting 11 guys out on the water is great. I cannot imagine how many we will get when we start getting out on the rivers. Looking forward to great things! Hope you can be a part of it!

Pool Session Tonight!
Meet us at the pool tonight for a Team River Runner session. If you are not involved in this program yet, you should try it out. I have never done anything more inspiring in all my life. We are consistently getting around 6-10 vets each session, and we need help with providing the best experience for them. If you are a paddler, great. If you are not, even better. Why? Because you are not tainted by your own paddling ambitions. You just want to help. And that is what we want. We will teach you the rest. If anything, come out to enjoy a game of kayak football with us.
The session is tonight, Sunday, January 25, from 4-6 pm at the Pavilion in Georgetown. Get a hold of us a Canoe Kentucky if you need directions or more information. See you on... or in... the water!
